Micro ring extensions are a great way of providing extra length and volume- without the need for glue during the bonding process. They work by pulling the natrual hair through a micro ring ( also referred to as a micro link or microbead). The threading and the ring are then secured  to the base of the hair , at the scalp before the extension is inserted into the ring and clamped shut.

The difference between nano rings and micro ring is primarily the difference in their size. With regards to the fitting method, they are both virtually the same in the technique used to fit the extension- just a nano ring is smaller then a micro ring.
